Titanium discs are made from titanium and titanium alloys as raw materials and are key components of high-end equipment in various fields. Their core advantages are "lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant and adaptable". Selection of grades as needed: high-strength alloys such as GR5 (TC4) for aviation, corrosion-resistant pure titanium materials such as GR2 and GR7 for chemical engineering, and biocompatible materials such as GR23 (TC4 ELI) for medical use.
In terms of performance, its density is only 4.5g/cm ³, and the tensile strength of GR5 exceeds 895MPa; Acid resistant, alkali resistant, salt spray resistant, medical grade titanium discs can also adhere to human bones, and porous designs can aid in bone regeneration.
The production process involves vacuum melting and refining, forging to optimize the structure, and then forming it through CNC machining. The specifications cover diameters ranging from 30mm to 2000mm and a maximum thickness of 200mm, complying with standards such as ASTM B381.
Widely applicable: used in aviation for engine components and fuselage structures; Chemical adaptation reactors and valves; Medical crowns and bone implants can be made, and porous designs can also be used in fuel cells and high-temperature filters.
